Scorciatoie Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, N. Sanity Beach
BAIA CRASH
- Shortcut 1 (Method 1: Difficulty 2/5): Shortcut needed for the trophy / achievement "Skippuddle". It is the safest way, but also the least rapid, to be able to reach the rock at height: just jump from the ramp to be able to accumulate the speed necessary to make the jump, which must take place near the lowest point wet by the puddle.
- Shortcut 1 (Method 2: Difficulty 3/5): Shortcut needed for the trophy / achievement "Skippuddle". It is possible to take the same shortcut by gaining a few seconds: in this case you will have to position yourself to the left of the ramp, but you will have to arrive with greater speed near the lowest point wet by the puddle. It is therefore a more difficult method to follow because you have less space and less speed.
ROO VIALS
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 4/5): This shortcut requires control, timing and speed. After jumping off the ledge you will need to land as far to the left as possible while paying attention to obstacles. It is essential to avoid them to keep the speed constant, helping yourself with the drift.
- Shortcut 2 (Difficulty 2/5): Also thanks to this shortcut we will be able to cross the finish line earlier, but to a lesser extent than the previous one precisely because it is less risky. In fact, it will be enough to arrive at high speed and jump, from the ledge that leads to the large skeleton, moving to the right of the skeleton itself with the help of the drift to tighten the curve as much as possible. It is important to have a high speed to perform this shortcut: in fact the surface tends to cause friction slowing the kart so it is not recommended for those who cannot manage the turbo in drifting ... unless you have objects such as the Turbo or Aku Aku available. / Uka Uka.
MYSTERY CAVES
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 4/5): It is a rather risky shortcut but which, with the right luck, can be decisive from the start of the race. In fact, after accumulating speed on the two catwalks, it will be necessary to jump on the shell of the left turtle but watch out: this must be raised so that we can jump up to the point of proceeding quickly on the left path, which will slow down our kart. In fact, once landed, we recommend jumping around to get out of the shortcut at a constant speed.
CLOACA TRACK
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 1/5): In this track it is important to start following the fastest path. In detail: at the first crossroads you will need to go left and then take advantage of the ramp to continue straight at high speed. It is the best way to be able to take Shortcut 2 of this track, where you will have to get there by chaining full turbos in drift.
- Shortcut 2 (Difficulty 4/5): Shortcut needed for the "Shortcut" trophy / achievement. It is a shortcut as risky as it is devastating: after accumulating speed thanks to Shortcut 1, we will have to slide along the pipeline and then take flight on the highest ledge and enter the shortcut at the top right. Immediately afterwards, once we have started the bridge, we must immediately go down to the right to gain as many seconds as possible from this shortcut. If we were to continue along the bridge instead, we would end up returning to the pipelines too late.
COCO PARK
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 2/5): Near the flowery gallery there is a curve that can be cut along the grassy surface. Shortcut recommended only at high speed, through turbo drifting or objects like Turbo or Aku Aku / Uka Uka.
- Shortcut 2 (Difficulty 1/5): Situation similar to the previous one but simpler and less decisive. Immediately after, however, it will be necessary to move to the right of the track to take advantage of the speed of the penultimate gangway of the lap.
CTR Shortcuts: Nitro-Fueled, Valley of the Gems
MOBILE COLOSSEUM
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 3/5): Once we have started the track we will have to immediately drift by chaining as much full turbos as possible. These will be essential to be able to jump on the first tire, after cutting the first corner on the grass. It is essential to jump to the highest point of the ledge to avoid crashing.
- Shortcut 2 (Difficulty 3/5): Situation practically analogous to the previous one. If we have taken Shortcut 1 the difficulty coefficient is lower.
- Shortcut 3 (Difficulty 1/5): This time we won't have to overtake any tires. Just jump on the small ledge to cut and build up speed in sight of Shortcut 4.
- Shortcut 4 (Difficulty 4/5): It is one of the most complex Crash Team Racing shortcuts, because it forces us to go in the opposite direction from the previous ones. It is important to reach the ledge at high speeds, chaining full turbos in drift or through the use of objects such as the Turbo or Aku Aku / Uka Uka. To make the most of this shortcut you will need to move to the right, once in the air, jumping as close as possible to the two tires.
Crash Team Racing Shortcuts: Nitro-Fueled, Lost Ruins
PAPAMY PYRAMID
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 3/5): Shortcut required for the "Pyramid Parkour" trophy / achievement. As simple as it may seem, it is a shortcut that requires good speed but above all the right timing in making the jump. In fact, it will be necessary to jump immediately after exiting the track, so once you land on the platform, jump back onto the main path. It is important to underline that it is possible to take Shortcut 2 immediately after, positioning yourself as far as possible on the left when landing.
- Shortcut 2 (Difficulty 2/5): Shortcut required for the "Pyramid Parkour" trophy / achievement. This is the simplest shortcut, we can also take advantage of the speed obtained from the left walkway to then move to the opposite side and then jump to the right. Once you have taken this road we must continue straight and then jump on the bridge, moving slightly to the right, and then jump to return to the main path.
- Shortcut 3 (Difficulty 4/5): Shortcut required for the "Pyramid Parkour" trophy / achievement. This is the last shortcut, as difficult as it is crucial. To perform it we will have to position ourselves correctly and follow a precise path along the climb, even at the cost of giving up speed. In fact, once we have started the climb, we recommend that we move to the left and then drift along the opposite direction towards the ledge at the top right. With the right positioning you will avoid hitting the wall and, once you have made the jump, you will have to move slightly to the left to land along the final downhill stretch.
CANYON DINGO
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 4/5): Immediately after starting the path you will need to move to the right and extricate yourself among cacti and various stones to cut the path as much as possible. In the first lap we will have little speed available, so it will be essential to start with full turbo at the start and drift, so once you have taken the shortcut you will have to jump to keep the speed constant and avoid suffering friction.
TEMPLE TIGER
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 3/5): Once we have started the track we have to use the turbo obtained at the start to move to the left and jump from the ledge. So we will have to drift as much as possible and jump around, cutting the path in the curve to the left, to keep the speed constant and make this shortcut useful, as the surface will slow down our kart. From the second lap onwards, the route in question is simpler, as long as the previous lap is finished at high speed.
- Shortcut 2 (Difficulty 1/5): Shortcut required for the trophy / achievement "Let me in!". Once we leave the temple we will be able to access this shortcut, only though after using an object capable of opening the entrance on the left. To do this we can use the following objects: Bomba, Becker, Missile, Scudo, Aku Aku/Uka Uka.
CTR Shortcuts: Nitro-Fueled, Glacier Park
DRAGON MINES
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 2/5): Shortcut required for the "Mining Kart" trophy / achievement. We can take the shortcut completely, and then unlock the trophy / objective, only by using Aku Aku / Uka Uka or the Shield. In Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, these items will indeed protect us from the cart.
- Shortcut 2 (Difficulty 5/5): Alternative path of the Shortcut 1. In the absence of objects it is the only useful way to take advantage of this path, therefore in the absence of the trolley we must take the tracks on the right and, at the appropriate time, jump to the left on the main wooden path.
COLLE STORM
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 2/5): Shortcut required for the "Winter Rally" trophy / objective. Once you have started, you will need to take advantage of the turbo at the start to enter the passage located on the left. It will be necessary to try to enter with a full turbo in drift, and to hop repeatedly to keep the speed constant. From the second lap onwards, the route in question is simpler, as long as the previous lap is finished at high speed.
- Shortcut 2 (Difficulty 1/5): After sliding along the ice lake, you will need to enter the narrow snowy path uphill to enter the cabin immediately afterwards.
- Shortcut 3 (Difficulty 3/5): Shortcut required for the "Winter Rally" trophy / objective. To overcome the fence on the right we have to get close to it at high speed. It is essential to jump just before the fence. (If you're only willing to take it to unlock the "Winter Rally" trophy / achievement, then just jump the fence in reverse after building up speed, through full turbo drifting or items like the Turbo and Aku Aku / Uka Uka.)
- Shortcut 4 (Difficulty 4/5): Shortcut required for the "Winter Rally" trophy / objective. It will be necessary to overcome the river after having accumulated speed through the two jumps, preceding the frozen lake, and the full turbos in drifting. As an alternative to drifting we can use objects such as the Turbo and Aku Aku / Uka.
- Shortcut 5 (Difficulty 5/5): Shortcut required for the "Winter Rally" trophy / objective. As in Shortcut 3 it will be necessary to overcome a fence, but this time a high speed will be required in a decidedly secluded position. It is essential to jump just before the fence. (If you're only willing to take it to unlock the "Winter Rally" trophy / achievement, then just jump the fence in reverse after building up speed, through full turbo drifting or items like the Turbo and Aku Aku / Uka Uka.)
POLAR PASS
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 3/5): Shortcut required for the "Arctic Obstacle Runner" trophy / achievement. To overcome the wall it is necessary to reach high speed, through turbo drifting or objects such as Turbo or Aku Aku / Uka Uka, avoiding the two seals very carefully. Then make the jump at the end of the climb: once in the air we recommend moving to the left to fall exactly on the gangway.
Crash Team Racing Shortcuts: Nitro-Fueled, The Citadel
ROCCA CORTEX
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 3/5): Shortcut needed for the "Rock Leaping" trophy / achievement. The difficulty of this track is also maintained near the shortcut, which forces us to make tight curves to avoid unpleasant falls. We go down the stairs accumulating as much speed as possible and skidding first to the left and then to the right. So we will have to position ourselves straight near the castle and, once the climb has started, tighten to the left and jump to the end of the ledge. So you will have to go straight on to re-enter the main path. It is possible to accumulate speed, before the stairs, using the gangway on the left, as long as you have to give up control of the kart.
LABORATORY N. GIN
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 5/5): Access to this shortcut, and its subsequent management, requires advanced control of the kart. In fact, to get to the ramp at the bottom right you will need to accumulate as much speed as possible, thanks to jumps and turbo skidding along the uphill stretch. Consequently, it will be necessary to take flight to the right of the main ramp: by doing so we will obtain an important speed boost, which will allow us both to overcome the next two holes and also to cut the last curves of the track. In order to face this last part it is necessary to jump immediately before these obstacles.
VIA HOT AIR
- Shortcut 1 (Difficulty 2/5): At the end of the "spiral" descent you will have to jump onto the right ramp after having accumulated high speed thanks to the turbo skidding or objects such as the Turbo and Aku Aku / Uka Uka. Once landed you will receive a major speed boost.
