What is Assassin's Creed?
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is the latest title in the series Assassin's Creed, which began in 2007 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation and which exposed the player to the exploits of the brotherhood of the Assassins, engaged in a mission to the Holy Land in 1191 against the Templars and their thirst for power.
Needless to say, since then a lot of water has passed under the bridge, and chapter after chapter, generation after generation, the saga has taken a very different direction from the initial one, they also change gender in the middle and passing from Action-stealth in third person to real RPG.
And speaking of Assassin's Creed plus RPG we reconnect to Valhalla, being in effect the leading exponent of this new gameplay approach adopted starting from Assassin's Creed: Origins.
Where is Valhalla set and what are its main themes?
The title will put you in the shoes of Eivor, one of the Vikings who will take part in the famous Viking invasion of Britain, remaining embroiled in the process in the conflict between the aforementioned Templars and the Brotherhood of Assassins.
As with any other chapter in the series, the places you visit will be heavily influenced by real historical representations and stories, embellished by the presence of famous personalities who really existed who in some cases remain in the culture in present times.
I won't go into any spoiler details, but if you want some more information, you can check out our article onsetting of this new chapter.
What platforms can it be played on? And at what price?
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is currently available on PC, Google Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series S / X and PlayStation 4, while it will already be available on November 19 on PlayStation 5 in correspondence with its European release.
The standard edition of the title is available for € 59,99 on PC and Stadia and € 69,99 on the remaining platforms, and it owns three versions with a higher price containing several in-game and non-ingame bonuses, namely the Gold Edition, the Ultimate Edition and the Collector Edition.
To see the various prices and current availability of each, I refer you directly to dedicated page on the official Ubisoft website.
How many hours does it last in the whole title?
If you simply talk about finishing the game without going into any platinum or collectibles, you will be able to easily finish the title in 60 / 90 hours, also depending on the difficulty chosen at the beginning of the game.
If, on the other hand, you want to listen to the completist inside you and get everything the game has to offer in terms of challenges, collectibles, equipment, etc., the duration is around. between 120 and 150 hours in total.
I leave you a couple of guides that will be useful in both cases:
Are there any choices that affect the plot? And is it possible to engage in romance?
For both questions, the answer is yes.
As for the first, in general you can influence a good part of the plot, starting with minor events such as the recruitment of allies to completely different endings.
Coming to the second question, however, there will be three characters with whom it will be possible to engage in romance. They will not even be bound by the sex you choose, this being editable at any time from the menu.

Is it possible to return to Norway after starting the adventure in Great Britain?
Going into more specific questions, the answer is yes, and doing it will be very simple.
In fact, you just need to enter the menu with the world map and press triangle / Y (you will see the buttons marked at the bottom left with the word "Atlas").
By doing so, you will see a screen with the various macro-areas of the title, including, of course, the Norway.
The same goes if you want to travel to Vinland, although this region will be unlocked later in the storyline.
The atlas does not include Asgard and Jotunheim. Is it therefore impossible to leave these areas?
The answer is no, and indeed, after meeting a couple of requirements you can exit and re-enter them very easily.
As for Asgard, the only thing you'll have to do is wait for it to complete first main mission in the area.
After that, a gray eye icon should appear in the map menu on the top left. Just click on it to wake up and find yourself back in the real world.
By completing the third main mission of Asgard you can unlock Jotunheim, from which you can exit and re-enter freely right away.
