If you need to delete all messages from Whatsapp you have two options. Empty or delete chats. Both methods can be done in one click.
Empty Whatsapp chat
This option allows you to empty, then delete all messages sent and received on your Whatsapp chats without deleting the chat itself. So once the operation is done the chats will always be present but without messages inside them.Here is how to empty the whatsapp chats.
To empty an individual or group chat
In the Chat tab, open the chat you want to empty tap tap the three dots at the top (more options) > More> Empty chat> EMPTY
To empty all chats at the same time
On the Chat tab, tap the three dots at the top (more options)> Settings> Chat> Chat history e touching Empty all chats. This will delete all messages within your chats. All chats will continue to appear on your Chats tab
Delete Whatsapp chats
This option allows you to simultaneously delete all chats and messages from your Whatsapp and also all media received and stored on your phone if you wish.
To delete an individual chat
On the Chats tab, touch and hold the individual chat you want to delete and tap delete.
To delete a group chat
Before deleting a group chat, you must leave the group.
In the tab Chat, touch and hold the group chat you want to delete touch the three dots that appear then leave group and on leave.
Now press and hold the group chat you want to delete again and this time press delete
Delete all chats at once
On the Chat tab, tap More options (the three dots at the top)> Settings> Chat> Chat history e touching Delete all chats. All individual chats will be deleted from the Chats tab, as will status updates. Group chats, on the other hand, will still be visible in the Chats tab and you will still be a part of it, so you'll need to manually delete them as described above.
