Instagram just made a change to the official application UI. Some users have indeed found the icon dedicated to Reels in the lower navigation bar, while the "Explore”Has been moved up. For the moment this is a novelty reserved for some Indian users, but it is likely that it will soon arrive in other countries as well.
Just a few days ago, Instagram launched the section "Reels". Users can post gods short films accompanied by songs and graphic effects. The function is very similar to TikTok, the social network that has recently entered the US government's crosshairs. Reels can be used directly within the official application of the social network: it is therefore not required to download other software.

Reels is currently accessible from Explore, but that may soon change. Instagram has in fact changed the UI of theofficial app inserting a button entirely dedicated to short films. The key to access Reels has been placed in the lower navigation bar, while the one for the section Explore moved up close to Direct.
An understandable choice, considering that this could make everything more orderly and intuitive. For the moment, the modification - distributed through a update via server - is only available for some Indian users. We just have to wait to find out if it will also arrive in other markets.
