As you well know, in valheim - new game that is depopulating on Steam - creating tools and anything else is essential for survival. Most of the materials that you will need to craft can be collected while you explore the world while others, however, you will have to procure them differently. The products you will often need include the plumage and in this guide we will explain where to find them and how to use them.
The following text may contain spoilers about Valheim, the latest work developed by Iron Gate AB and published by Coffee Stain Studios. We therefore advise you to continue carefully in order to avoid any major and minor spoilers, which could undermine your play experience.
What are feathers for
In Valheim, feathers are practically indispensable for making arrows, which together with the bow are the most used weapon for both hunting and long-range combat.
Where to find the feathers
When you pass through the Black Forest or the Plain, as the birds will drop them naturally, it will be easy to find them lying around on the ground.
Another quicker way to get them is when you hunt birds for food, or just to mend the aforementioned feathers. When the birds land on the ground they will become easy prey to catch, but if you have a little patience, there will be no need to consume arrows unnecessarily as you will see the feathers several times on the ground. Also, when you open chests, you will often find them there as well.
How to use feathers
You already know the system for building various equipment or armaments and for making arrows you will have to do the same thing, ie you will only have to go to a workbench. Here you can indulge yourself and assemble all kinds of arrows that you will need in the game.
That was all there was to know about getting feathers in Valheim; if you need other help we remind you that we have an entire section dedicated to guides updated with all the titles of the moment.
