The first company to introduce the novelty is Xiaomi which - as reported by XDA-Developers - made the “GPU Driver Updater” application available in its app store.
The purpose of the app is to update the Adreno 650 GPU of the Snapdragon 865 that powers its smartphones, such as Mi 10 and Redmi K30 Pro. In addition to the update for OpenGL ES and Vulkan, the update brings with it optimizations for different titles videogames like PUGB Mobile and Fortnite.
