How to install Magisk

Installing Magisk is a simple and straightforward task

You need:

• Custom recovery (TWRP recommended )
• Magisk Zip
• Magisk Manager

You need a custom recovery installed on your device. There are many guides available to install it but it is quite simple, here are the steps:

• Make sure all drivers are installed (ADB and fastboot and your device drivers), then download the TWRP for your device.
• Put it in the adb folder and rename it to twrp.img.
• Boot your device into Fastboot or Bootloader mode and connect it to your PC.
• Open Powershell window or command window in adb folder
• Type this:

fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

• After successful flash, type this to reboot the device

Steps for installing Magisk and Magisk Manager

Step 1: Download Magisk

1. Download the latest version of Magisk zip and Magisk Manager from above.
2. Install Magic Manager
3. Place the Magisk Zip file in the internal memory

Step 2: Install Magisk via Custom Recovery

1. Start Custom Recovery (TWRP) by pressing the button combination for your device
2. Go to the Install section and navigate to the folder where you placed the Magisk Zip file
3. Tap the Zip file and slide the bar to install the Magisk zip
4. After successful installation, restart your device

Step 3: Verify the installation

1. Enable “Unknown sources” in the settings
2. Install Magic Manager in April
3. You will see green check marks with the Magisk version installed on the screen
