The Last of Us Part II, the new flagship title of Naughty Dog and Sony, sequel to the acclaimed The Last of Us, has just been released but many players have already decided, by virtue of their appreciation for the title or for pure collecting, to want to get all the trophies of the game and consequently the platinum one to complete their adventure.
So here is a guide (FULL OF SPOILERS, of course) to all the trophies in the game, so that you can finally brag on Twitter that you have platinum-plated this game and consequently be complimented by a joyful Druckmann who will send you his electronic thanks (- this part may differ in reality).

All the trophies scattered across infected America
But before starting in fourth with the long and boring list of all the trophies, here are some clarifications regarding platinum in general.

The Last of Us Part 2 between politics and reviews
You won't need much more time than it will take to complete the game, and in general to get platinum you will only need one of the 30 and 40 hours of gameplay, two runs of which the second is only “almost” complete.
The trophies are 26 in total, and most are obtainable thanks to the collectibles obtainable in the game. The trophies, of course, as well as the game, are only available on PlayStation 4 (- for those who have forgotten it).
I also remind you that the game has a chapter selection function, which could be very useful for some of the trophies that I will talk about shortly. In particular, you will need it in case you are unable to collect all the collectibles of some area.
How to approach the first game in view of platinum
Before the fateful list, however, I would like to give you some tips on how to approach the first run of this game in case you have decided to get platinum before you have even finished it (- who am I to judge?)
The most important thing to do is to search and explore very carefully all areas of the game to collect as many objects as possible, both for the creation of new tools (it will be used for one of the bronze trophies) both to upgrade characters and weapons.
For this, in mode very easy, the circle button can help, as it will allow you to see all objects close to you. Also remember to SAVE during the last chapter, in Santa Barbara, for an achievement of which I will tell you more in the course of the guide.
After completing the game, two paths will open up in front of you: if you have managed to upgrade Abby's weapons and upgrades (which is required for platinum), just use the chapter selection to recover the missing collectibles, while if you missed something, just start a game in New Game +.
In this new game, try to find all the collectibles and upgrade both characters in the game to the maximum, and, if so, give priority to this second thing.
If you are missing any collectibles, there just reload the save you made in the last chapter.
The simplest: several bronze trophies
So let's start with the plank, starting with the simplest trophies, those of bronze. Before telling you how to get them all, however, we can eliminate some of them in advance.
The trophies "Talented craftsman","Apprentice","Start of the collection","Brand old”All require you to collect collectibles. For this reason, if you are missing any, keep reading this part of the guide.
Tools of the trade
The requirement is very simple on paper, and it is “Create all items”. Precisely for this trophy I advised in your runs to be very careful about what you can find in the game world, because thanks to a combination of materials you can get all 12 objects available in the game.
Here is a list of all the items in the game, how to get them and how to create them:
Mira que mira!
The request for this achievement, "Win the race at the shooting range“, Refers to an event during chapter 24. Manny will invite us at a competition at the shooting range, and our aim will be to win against her.
How? It is easy to say, the trick is hit with precision. Aim mostly for the head and heart, and you should easily be able to get past Manny's points. You can help yourself aim by using the L3 button.
Unrivaled
This trophy will also be tied to a race, specifically a minigame you start in chapter 29. The request is "Set the record in the archery challenge”And to complete it you will have to hit 10 targets before time runs out.
There are two tricks to be able to do this: the first is strike up close, and the second is to modify the automatic aim and bring it to 10 in order not to have problems with missed targets of any kind.
Relic of the wise men
This and the next trophy are linked together, and are both mandatory stops for the gold “Archivist” trophy. Both trophies refer to items that are special collectibles and easter eggs from previous Naughty Dog games. You can find both in the chapter 28 is "Seattle - Day 1", during the episode "Hostile Territory".
The first prompts you to "Find the strange artifact". The strange artifact is a quote from the saga of Jak & Dexter by Naughty Dog, and to find it you'll need to get to the top floor of the pottery shop with Abby. To get there, climb to the top floor of the building opposite, juggle the hordes of enemies and jump to a small balcony nearby.
On a piece of furniture on the right you will find a particular egg, Precursor, according to the Jack & Dexter nomenclature, which will allow you to obtain the achievement.
From humble beginnings to great enterprises
This trophy will require you to find the "carved ring", a tribute to Naughty Dog's Uncharted saga.
Also in this case, you can find it during the chapter "Seattle - Day 1“, But this time with Ellie, in the episode "City Center". It will be located in the bank, the building south of the Seattle map.
To enter it, you will have to enter the rubble to the left of the structure, eliminate the enemies, and open the armored door with the code 60 23 06. Here, inside a safe you will find the ring in question that will allow you to get the trophy.
It fits you perfectly
This is a nice trophy that requires you "Put a hat on your partner". It refers to when in chapter 15 Ellie and Joel will be in the Wyoming Museum.
Here, turn right and take the hanging hat. Once you enter the room with the dinosaur skeletons, put the hat on the Stegosaurus, the Triceratops and the Dimetrodon, so that you can put it on Joel's head too and you will receive the achievement.
The silver trophies: a more difficult challenge
These trophies have more difficult requests, in particular many are related to collectibles, while the others to the enhancements of the protagonists.

The Last of Us Part 2 - Where to find all weapons and holsters
You will need enough patience to be able to complete them, but they are not particularly difficult: in particular, for collectibles you just need to use the Chapter selection which you will unlock by completing the game.
The trophies related to the collectibles are the following: "War mechanics","The art of burglary"(For which we have a special guide) and"Passionate tourist","Learn the art"And"Field interventions". For all these achievements, we'll talk about them later (LINK TO COLLECTABLES).
Specialist
This trophy is quite simple to obtain, as it requires you "Unlock all player upgrades in a specialization branch". Simply, initially spend the points in one branch only, depending on how you prefer to play The Last of Us Part II to get this trophy.
"Survival training" and "High caliber"
Both of these trophies are linked to the gold trophy "Extreme survival“, And require the upgrading of protagonists and weapons.
More precisely, the first requires "Unlock 25 player upgrades" while "Unlock all weapons"Is the requirement of the second.
Top of the top: the gold trophies
So here we are with the toughest challenges, the gold trophies of The Last of Us Part II. In particular, we have moved all the achievements related to the character enhancement and collectable, on which we have handy guides that you can consult.
Also in this section there are also specific trophies for each type of collectible, these are "Warfare mastery","Archivist","Deluxe collection","Mania for numismatics"And"Let's get ready for the worst".
The achievement "My duty"Instead it unlocks completing the story and it cannot be missed in any way.
All collectibles needed for platinum
There are well 286 collectibles in The Last of Us II, as has been the tradition of the Open World titles of recent years, and many of the game's trophies are linked to their collection. Below we will write all types of collectibles and which trophies they unlock.
The difficulty is mainly in the patience that you will need to have to follow the our guide to collectibles and recover all those present in the game (which in itself is a great challenge), without forgetting, however, to also find all the materials scattered around the map, which will be less if you play high difficulty levels.
Extreme Survival
Finally, this is the last trophy I would like to tell you about. It requires you to fully upgrade all skill branches. To do this, you will need them well 1900 skill points, as well as all the manuals that you can find through the paragraph on collectable (these will unlock additional skill trees).
To find the skill points, you will need to collect the supplements, which will be scattered around the maps in no specific order, but will be found mostly in bathrooms and pharmacies. However, it is very likely that you won't be able to make it in one game, so you'll probably have to restart a game in New Game + to be able to complete all the necessary upgrades (which will be maintained in this second run).
Platinum - "From first to last"
