How to delete a post on Facebook
From mobile app
To delete a Facebook post using the smartphone app:
- Launch the Facebook app on your smartphone.
- Log into your account and find the post you want to delete.
- Tap the three dots icon located at the top right of your post.
- Select the Move to Trash option from the list.
- Confirm your choice by tapping Move.
NB: The post will now be moved to your account's trash. Note that deleted posts will remain in the trash for 30 days. The recycle bin allows you to restore posts that you accidentally deleted.

To delete a post on your computer using the web version of Facebook:
- Go up facebook.com.
- Log into your account and open the post you want to delete.
- Click on the three dots icon.

How to delete Facebook posts in bulk:
- Open the Facebook app on your smartphone.
- Tap the three horizontal lines icon located in the top right corner of the screen.
- Go to your profile by tapping your name.
- Tap the three-dot icon.
- Select Activity Log.
- Tap the Manage Activities option.
- Select the option that says Your Posts.
- Now select all the posts you want to delete from your account. You can also select the All option to delete every post on your timeline.
- Once done, tap on the Trash option at the bottom of the screen.
NB: You can only delete multiple posts using the app on your phone or tablet.
