In September 2020, Facebook made its latest redesign mandatory, which means you can't go back to the classic layout anymore. At least not officially. However, by using a workaround, it is still possible to go back to the old Facebook. And in this article we will show you how.
How to return to the old facebook layout
Thanks to a new browser extension called Old Layout, it allows you to continue using the old Facebook look with a simple trick.
The extension simply tricks Facebook into thinking you are using an old browser that doesn't work with the new layout. Facebook then reverts to classic design.

old layout it works by telling Facebook that you are using an old browser to force the classic look. However, this has some downsides.
You may see a warning at the top of Facebook that you are using an old browser. Even if your browser is up to date.
Some features may not work on Facebook when you use the old layout. Since Facebook believes you are using an unsupported browser, it may prevent you from playing some games or using newer features. You will need to go back to the new layout to access this content.
Simply install Old Layout for your browser, then visit Facebook and you will see the classic interface. If you have Facebook open when you install it, you will need to reload the page for the change to take effect.
Click the extension icon in the browser menu bar to switch between the old and new layouts without disabling the extension.
