How to play Steam games on Android
First of all, download the Steam Link app for Android devices from the link below; The app is still in beta but already works quite well.

Now choose the desktop PC where to install the Steam platform client. Obviously choose a PC with great computing capabilities and a powerful video card., in order to fully exploit the potential of the service. The Steam client can be downloaded for Windows, Mac and Linux from the following link:

Open the client on your desktop PC and log in with the Steam account where you have all the games you own. Now make sure you connect your smartphone to the same home network as your PC running Steam. To make the most of Steam Link on Android we recommend:
- Connect the fixed PC via Ethernet to the router/modem and the fixed Android device (a TV Box) via Ethernet
- Alternatively, connect desktop PC via Ethernet to router/modem and Android smartphone via 5GHz WiFi network
- Or connect your desktop PC and Android smartphone to the same 5 GHz (802.11ac) WiFi network
Note- Absolutely avoid using the service on a smartphone or PC over a 2,4 GHz WiFi network, the risk of interference and lags during gameplay is too high!
Now you just have to open the app from your smartphone and configure everything you need.
To play effectively you need to use a wireless controller (including the Steam Controller), which will connect directly to your smartphone; in fact, during the configuration phase the application allows you to choose if you want to connect one steam controller or any other Bluetooth controller.
Choose to finish setting up your controller, including button layout. The next screen will search for the PC with the Steam client started; With a few simple touches you will have Steam Link available on your Android smartphone.
Once all the configuration steps have been completed, you will only have to click on "Start playing" to access a reduced version of the client, where you can choose the games to start.
Select the game you want to play and start enjoying it on your Android smartphone!
Computing capabilities will be managed by your PC (which will run in the background to manage the game, without displaying any visible window), while audio and video will be sent to the screen from your smartphone which will then function as a simple player of a streaming broadcast (coming from the computer).
The commands sent from the smartphone will follow the reverse path, going from the app to the Steam client so that we can manage the protagonist or play as if we were really in front of the PC.
The latter will still be available to anyone who wants to use it, but given the resources involved, it is not advisable to run programs that are too heavy during the game section with Steam Link.
