Telegram has finally added video calls. This feature is now available for both iOS and Android users.
You can currently only make individual video calls, but Telegram plans to add group video calls in the future.
Video calls are available with Telegram update 7.0.
Video call on Telegram
Open Telegram and tap the photo of your contact you want to video call to access their profile.
You should see a video call icon on the person's profile. Select that icon to start a video call.
You can also start a video call by accessing the chat of the person you intend to video call if you are already exchanging messages with them and press the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen, from the menu that opens select Video call.
During the conversation, you can quickly switch between a video call and a single voice, flip the camera, and mute the call.
