During your (mis)adventures in Resident Evil 4 Remake potreste imbattervi in alcuni cassetti chiusi a chiave. To open them you need to use a special object called "Small Key". In total there are eight to recover to get your hands on as many treasures, mostly valuable objects to resell.
La peculiarità delle chiavi è che non sono considerate dei veri e propri tesori, quindi non appaiono nella mappa neppure se avete acquistato le "mappe del tesoro" dal Mercante. Ma niente paura, vi diamo una mano noi: in questa guida vi spiegheremo come ottenere tutte le piccole chiavi di Resident Evil 4 e dove si trovano i cassetti da aprire.
Keep in mind that any key can open any closed drawer, but it can only be used once. Usually keys and drawers are not too far from each other, so below, in addition to the position of the former (marked red in the maps below), we will suggest which is the closest treasure to recover (in green).
Where to find the small keys and which drawers they open
Small Key #1 - Valley
You can get the first key starting from Chapter 2 in the Valley, an area you will visit shortly after meeting the Merchant. To be precise, it is located in the house south of this area. Starting from the beginning of the area, cross the wooden bridge on the left, then go down the stairs and turn right. The key is inside a small chest.
Potrete utilizzarla per aprire il cassetto chiuso che si trova nella Fabbrica Abbandonata, in the same room where you previously recovered Leon's equipment.
Piccola Chiave #2 - Villa del Capo Villaggio
Always in the Chapter 2 you will be able to recover a second key. You will find it inside the Villa del Capo Villaggio. The key is on a wooden cabinet, located in the southwest corner of the house.
Vi suggeriamo di utilizzarla nel Chapter 3 per aprire il cassetto chiuso situato nella casa centrale nella parte nord della Piazza del Villaggio.
Little Key #3 - Fish Breeding
You can get another key in the Chapter 3, in the Fish Breeding area. To be precise, it is found in a drawer inside a shed to the left of the garage where you will get the petrol tank needed to continue the game.
Potrete utilizzare questa chiave per recuperare un tesoro situato nell'area del Mercante subito dopo la cava. Scendete le scale a pioli alla sinistra di questo affabile negoziante, e girate a destra per trovare un cassetto chiuso.
Small Key #4 - Altar in the Forest
In Chapter 4 you can get a key in the Forest Altar. To reach this area, use the boat to return to the Lake Colony, north of the lake. Kill the enemies and then use the Coat of Arms Key recovered earlier to open the locked door to the north. Advance and you will eventually arrive in a small open space used for macabre rites. The small key is located next to a wooden barrel, west of this area.
We suggest using it to recover a treasure located in the Colony on the Lake, nella casa al centro di questo area.
Piccola Chiave #5 - Chiesa
Potrete recuperare un'altra chiave sempre durante il Chapter 4. As soon as you enter the church where Ashley is being held captive, continue straight to the altar and you will find the item on a table on the right.
You can use this key once you leave church. It is found in the safe area with the typewriter on the west side of the building.
Small Key #6 - Bookbinding
Potrete ottenere la successiva chiave piccola durante il Chapter 8, in Salazar Castle. Once you have solved the short puzzle in the Bindery, continue straight down the corridor until you reach a small room lit by a chandelier. The key is located on top of a wooden chest in front of the window.
Fortunatamente c'è un cassetto chiuso proprio nella Bookbinding that you have just passed, so all you have to do is go back a few meters to recover another treasure.
Small Key #7 - Central Corridor - Armory
The seventh small key of Resident Evil 4 Remake is found in the Chapter 9. To be precise, it is inside a wooden cabinet located in the corridor that starts from the second floor of the Central Corridor area and reaches the Armory.
Gli ultimi due tesori da recuperare purtroppo non sono molto vicini rispetto alla posizione delle chiavi. In questo caso vi suggeriamo di fare un po' di back tracking e affrontare qualche nemico extra per tornare nella Audience Chamber (se non avete fretta più avanti sbloccherete un treno che parte dai pressi del mercante del Corridoio Centrale, che vi farà risparmiare un po' di strada). C'è un cassetto da aprire nel muro nord dell'area.
Piccola Chiave #8 - Sala da Ballo
The last small key is found in the Ballroom, but you can only obtain it starting from Chapter 12, poco dopo lo scontro con un boss (che non citiamo per non fare spoiler). Una volta raggiunto il Mercante e il treno che porta alla Torre dell'Orologio setacciate la zona e troverete l'oggetto sopra un tavolino di legno circolare.
The last treasure will also require some backtracking and dealing with a few extra enemies. In fact, you will have to go there again Castle ramparts, passing through the Courtyard. Once you reach the area, eliminate the first enemy and proceed towards the first bastion and open the door by shooting the counterweight on the right. Here you will find yet another locked drawer.
