I Legacies of the Wise Men, in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, are particular objects that allow you to enhance Link's traveling companions, i.e. the champions of the peoples who inhabit the kingdom of Hyrule. The upgrade consists of a slight reduction in the cooldown of their special abilities, but above all in a clear increase in the damage they inflict in combat.
The Legacies of the Wise have some peculiarities that you will surely have already guessed. First of all, they are only found in the islands of the sky, so we recommend that you always keep track of all the islands you have already explored with the Hero's Path (feature of the Pruna Tablet). Furthermore, in order to use them it is necessary to collect at least four of them, and then present yourself in front of any Statue of the Goddess, a place where you can spend them to enhance the sage you prefer. Let's see below the guide to the exact location of all 20 Legacies of the Wise, divided by the different regions of the celestial islands.

Oldin Airspace
This Legacy is found on the large island with the mining tracks. Specifically, it is located below the surface, in a hidden alcove that can be reached by descending from the sides of the archipelago.
The second legacy is very self-explanatory: it is the only chest on the island reported above, which is very small and located just west of Mount Death.
Hyrule Centrale
This Legacy in Central Hyrule is found at the bottom of a pool of water. To reach it you must raise the dam and secure it using any nearby object, for example the trunk of a tree. Then you can reach the chest.
Gerudo Airspace
You simply have to solve the riddle of the mirrors in the large floating sphere: follow the beams of light to first unlock the Shrine and then to grant you access to the chest that houses the legacy.
The second Legacy is guarded by a Golemax on a platform in the middle of nowhere. The best way to reach it is to start from the Isle of Courage in the north and slowly glide towards your destination. At that point you just need to defeat your opponent, or remove the chest from him, to take the Legacy.
From the Rakashog Shrine, use the piston to shoot yourself into the sky on the island housing the Legacy. You must use a mirror to reflect the light onto the yellow hexagon above the door, in order to open it and gain access to the chest.
The last legacy in Gerudo Space is the one on the "isolated" island, pardon the pun, guarded by King Griock. These islands always host a variant of the three-headed superboss, and can only be reached using advanced Zonau devices and a lot of battery. By defeating the boss, the reward will be a Legacy of the Wise.
Firone Airspace
Very important premise: We advise you not to recover these Legacies until you have almost completed the main storyline. Firone's airspace is in fact surrounded by a terrible storm that makes it practically impossible to move, and to remove it you must complete a good part of the narrative thread. However, this Legacy is found in a chest in the jawbone of Dragon Head Island.
The second Legacy is located exactly at the point indicated above: you must break through the stone floor and drop inside to recover the reward.
The last one is found on an island to the west which houses the classic Golemax to protect a chest.
Hebra Mountains Airspace
The first Legacy is on the classic "isolated" island guarded by a Griock King. Create a vehicle, reach it, defeat the boss and you will get the reward.
You can reach this island by using the Zora Armor to go up the waterfall, after which you can rely on the rockets and fans on the subsequent islands to reach the last one, which houses the chest with the Legacy.
This is very simple: use the tools you have around, on the first island, to create a cable car with wooden planks that allows you to reach the opposite side, where the Legacy you are looking for is located.
Ranel Airspace
This Legacy is found in Ranel's large floating sphere. Once inside, you must rotate the mechanism until the hole is exactly halfway down the floor you are on, in order to slide downstairs and reach the chest. Practically the hole must "cut" the floor in half.
Ranel's second Legacy is protected by a Golemax exactly below the Water Temple. Impossible to miss if you have already explored this area.
Ranel's last Legacy is also protected by an Advanced Golemax, but this time on a large circular platform away from the other islands, positioned towards the south. As always, detach the chest from the enemy and take the reward.
Necluda Airspace
The first Legacy is found on this small island which is home to several mineral deposits. Simply open the chest and move on to the next one.
The second is guarded by King Griock who has nested on the island in the extreme south-east of the map. It is a very difficult island to reach, so we advise you to only attempt the feat when you have enough batteries for your devices.
The last one is stuck to the supporting structure of the Golemax that patrols the southernmost circular platform of the map.
Akkala Airspace
The final Legacy of the Sages is found in the floating sphere in the center of the Sudakkala Archipelago. To obtain it you must drop inside and reposition the entrance hole so that it is facing the gacha machine that spits Zonau devices. Once this is done, use the passage that has been created to reach the other floor and get your hands on the reward.
