The summer season has finally given way to the fall season also on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. With the advent of the first freezing rains and accompanied by the scent of Cedrone's dishes, the first autumn patterns begin to appear involving exclusive materials.

Hunting for acorns and pine cones
One of the most noticeable changes in the game is the functionality of normal trees and cedars. In fact, if you approach to shake them, there is a small chance that an acorn or a pine cone will fall from that tree respectively. More often than not, however, you will find yourself with pockets full of branches, but don't give up and insist on the same tree for longer to increase the chances of finding one of the two materials!

Of course, along with the new materials introduced, the matched pattern set. At the moment, there are nine seasonal do-it-yourself schemes obtainable. In this table, we see which ones and how to craft them.

What future events to expect
One thing is certain: autumn events won't stop there. Although Nintendo has yet to announce more details about an upcoming update that will introduce some October holidays, one confirmed event appears to be Halloween, as had already been announced in the first trailers of the New Horizons updates.
There has been speculation for some time about the addition of vegetables and gardening to the Switch title, as they are already present on Pocket Camp, the title for mobile devices. However, we are confident that the wait won't last long!
