Animal Crossing: New Horizons it will quickly put you in debt to the king of capitalists Tom Nook. To pay it back, we advise you to make money fast. However, the beginning of this game is a bit different, as this debt will not come immediately, but once more adequate accommodation is obtained.
Borrowing money from Tom Nook, however, is not a bad deal: there is no interest, no debt collector and no pressure. In any case, however, you will have to pay your house before extending the territory, and so gradually in repetitions. So in addition to great friendships, be prepared to meet large debts as well.
How to make a lot of money
Since making money will take a long time, we have some helpful tips for you. It's about thinking carefully about how to devote time and resources to maximize it. First, you must be an active citizen: harvest fruit from trees every day, hit rocks for resources, cut down trees and replant them, regularly fish and catch insects, dig up fossils and much more. So, no matter how obvious, you will have to take it into your head to complete as many activities as possible. To earn you have to sweat.
Sell items, but be careful who
Obviously, the main method of making money quickly is to sell unnecessary items. The main vendors for the sale of items are Timmy and Tommy, who will initially open a shop inside the Residential Services tent and later move on to an actual shop. They will be your main point of contact for the sale of the items.
However, there are also two special animals that will visit your island once a week, but only when the island has grown enough. They are CJ the beaver and Flick the chameleon. As their breeds might suggest, CJ loves fish and Flick loves insects. Both offer quests related to catching fish and insects and can provide unique items. Best of all, this pair also pays a higher price for fish and bugs than Timmy and Tommy.
As for Timmy and Tommy, they are pretty straightforward at first with a fixed price for everything, and you can reach them 24 hours a day. Once they open Nook's Cranny they will have fixed opening hours but will also have a box outside the shop where you can drop off things to sell - you'll get the money in the morning. Once they are inside the shop you can also earn extra money by selling the hot item of the day. This changes every day, but it seems the game is smart enough to figure out which item you can find more easily. Often, it will be something you can create.
Crafting can make you a lot of money
The crafting system can be used to combine resources and create items from scratch. The point here is simple: often, it is cheaper to manufacture items from raw materials and then sell them at a higher price. As you well know, however, crafting is a time-consuming activity, but if you are at the beginning of the adventure it will not hurt you to sell some finished object in exchange for a nice nest egg. However, remember that raw materials are important, try to keep them at least in minimum quantities.
Import foreign fruit to sell and grow perfect fruit
A staple of any Animal Crossing economy is the collection and sale of fruit. The latter can be found in the trees around the island, once collected it can be sold to Timmy and Tommy for a profit.
However, it is not that simple, as each island has a "native" type of fruit. This can be sold, but since there are plenty of them it's not all that valuable. Instead, you will get many more bells for foreign fruit imported from elsewhere. The easiest way to get foreign fruit is to visit another island, either through a Nook Miles ticket or through multiplayer, where you can coordinate with friends to get different fruits.
Once you have a foreign fruit, you can bring it back to your island to sell it. Better yet, plant it on the island so that it grows into a tree that will produce that fruit, providing long-term gains.
Finally, there's Perfect Fruit, a staple for Animal Crossing. This is a succulent, juicy and perfectly perfect fruit. Due to its perfect nature, it is in high demand. These are worth a huge amount of money but are very rare. They look random, but here's a key tip: If you get a perfect fruit, the first thing to do is plant it. Plant a perfect fruit (which will become a fragile tree, so you don't need an ax to cut it down) and the first harvest will be perfect. This only applies to the first harvest, but then you can take one of those perfect fruits and plants and create some sort of chain. In this way it is possible to grow only perfect fruits.
Use the market for big gains
Once a week, every Sunday, an animal named Daisy Mae will roam the island. Daisy is taking on the role of her grandmother Joan, and Animal Crossing fans will be pleased to know that, despite the takeover, Stalk Market is back in this game in much the same way.
Anyway, for the uninitiated, it's quite simple: on Sundays you will have the opportunity to buy Turnips from Daisy Mae at a set price. Throughout the week the price of turnips at Nook's Cranny will vary widely, twice a day, to the point where selling them could make you a huge profit in bells, but also a big loss. You simply have to keep an eye on the market by checking Timmy and Tommy and selling at the right time.
If you don't sell the turnips before the following Sunday, they will become stale and therefore useless.
