CramoBot Guides: recipes, combinations and Apricorn guide

The first expansion for Pokémon Sword and Shield brings with it emotions and dissensions, between a Wailord of uncertain proportions and a story not as exciting as we hoped.

The Isle of Armor is a very large environment, which attempts to implement the operation of the Wilds to the entire map it displays. New Pokémon, Diglett "collectibles" and even a "synthesis" function of objects - the CramoBot.

This adorable mechanism with the features of a Cramorant (I'm not saying it because I love Cramorant) can be activated by the son of the master Mustard at a cost of 500 Watt (100 Watt then for each use), and as anticipated you can use it as a sort of synthesizer of objects.

Before starting immediately to feed the cute robot with random objects to see what is given to us in return, we must understand how it actually works.

In the Cramobot we will be able to insert 4 objects that will be destroyed during the synthesis process, returning a completely new one at the end.

The latter, however, will never be random: the robot, in fact, will assign a certain value and a type (such as Electric, Dark, Psycho, etc.) to each individual object that can be inserted inside it.

The type of the first object inserted will establish the type of the final object, while the total value of the 4 objects will determine which of the various objects of that same type we will get in the end.

Let's take an example: through the Cramobot, we want to get a King's Rock. The King's Rock is considered a Dragon type, and can be obtained with a value between 101 and 110.

The first thing we will need, therefore, will be a Dragon-type item that we will feed to the Cramobot at the beginning of the synthesis.

In this case, we will take an Absorbisphere, which will have a value of 20. The second, third and fourth objects can be of any type, as long as the preset value is reached. In this case, we will take a Doubtdisco (32), a Bonboncuore (30) and a Magnet (20).

Adding the value of the Absorbisphere (20) with the other 3 (32 + 30 + 20 = 82) we will obtain a final value of 102, ensuring, in the end, to obtain the much desired King's Rock.

For more information on this, we refer you to dedicated page of the specialized site Serebii, which accurately reports all the values and types of each exploitable object in the synthesis.

What competitive tools can the CramoBot manufacture?

One of the best exploitable benefits of this new feature is certainly the creation of useful items for the competitive which would normally require dozens of battles in the fight tower to acquire.

All unique combinations

Despite the explanation given above, there are some specific combinations that go beyond them.

The same goes for the newly introduced apricots, which return as tools from Heart Gold / Soul Silver and will have the same use they had at the time, that is to allow us to obtain different types of Poké Balls.

The method by which to use them is simple: just take 4 apricots of the same color, give them to the CramoBot and in no time they will be converted into different types of Poké Balls.

Below you will find a table indicating which ones you can get from each apricot (the Poké Balls that you can only get from a certain type of apricot will be marked in italics).

The final result

In short, the CramoBot seems to provide many opportunities for coaches. Perhaps a function that has gone into the background due to the criticism suffered by this first DLC of Pokémon Sword and Shield. And perhaps in the end it would be useful to stop for a moment to reflect and appreciate what can help and not just damage a product.

I'm pretty sure we'll see some good ones with the next expansion and who knows, maybe people will start noticing this new addition too!
