Taking the first steps in hacking in Cyberpunk 2077
In a Night City where the most advanced and sophisticated technology represents its beating heart, it is important be able to hack any system or instrumentation; after all, mere brute force is not always the best solution, especially in a world like that of Cyberpunk 2077. Through the so-called "Protocol violation”- minigame that is the basis of the whole hacking system - you can easily bypass surveillance systems, open indestructible doors, fry the brains of too tough enemies and much more. They mainly exist two types of Violation, the physical one and the remote one. The first, which requires you to physically connect to the tool you have targeted, is mainly used to obtain resources, such as money and useful components to improve. The second, on the other hand, offers different rewards depending on the "Demons”(The malware that you can use after passing the Breaches) that you have unlocked in the talent tree. Violations have a time limit and different degrees of difficulty, but you can simplify these steps in various ways, for example by increasing the time you have to hack. To do this, you can purchase talents dedicated to the "Protocol Violation" skill - leveling up in the meantime - and equip specific cyberdeck.
Within the mechanics related to hacking, the RAM. Whenever you do a quick hack, you will use a different amount of RAM depending on the effect you aim to reach and the difference in level between the target and our digital alter-ego. There are also other ways to decrease the cost of RAM required such as, for example, by obtaining some talents. In this context it will be important to increase the "maximum RAM" and "RAM regeneration" parameters.
