In a recent interview, FromSoftware unveiled new details on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the action adventure coming March 22nd. To start, Hidetaka Miyazaki himself revealed that the bosses will be different than we are used to from previous souls-like titles.
For example, there is a greater focus on movement mechanics: as we know, the protagonist is much more agile than in the past, thanks also to a grappling hook. With the exclusion of swimming, these mechanics will be at the center of many battles, thanks to specially made arenas: the first fight with a boss shown took place on a bridge, on the sides of which there were tree branches, usable for get away from the ground quickly and avoid the opponent's attacks.

Not all travel options, however, will always be available. Some enemies will be more similar to the big monsters we are used to seeing in Dark Souls and Bloodborne and will be dealt with in a similar way. All bosses will have a weakness and we will have to understand it if we want to make the fight easier.
In this regard, it seems that there will be clues scattered around the game world, which will replace the messages left by players in previous Miyazaki games. The director states that we will be free to look for them or not, but they will certainly help since bosses "use dirty tricks" and "incorrect techniques".

Additionally, FromSoftware communications manager Yasuhiro Kitao revealed that the main character we control will speak. We will no longer have in our hands, as we know, a PC created by us, but we will live the adventure of a specific person, within a defined story. Meeting new characters, therefore, "The Wolf" (as the character is nicknamed) will react in his own way. This allowed FromSoftware to tell a story differently than in the past.
This is not to say that the classic fragmented lore of Miyazaki's projects will not be present. If the character's plot is defined, the world, bosses and common enemies, with their rules, are all to be discovered. We remind you that Sekiro will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
