The new video game from Electronic Arts, Motive Studios and Lucasfilm has finally landed on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The title delivers an immersive first-person dogfight combat experience, set in the beloved Star Wars galaxy. Exciting 5v5 online fights await us, but where will they take place? Let's take a closer look at the Star Wars: Squadrons map list and we discover the various places where the clashes will be set.
Here is the list of multiplayer maps in Star Wars: Squadrons
To date, there are six playable maps, but we believe that more will soon come to implement the game. Here are the available settings:
- Essels - Although close to New Republic space, Esseles has been under imperial control for a decade. Within the icy ring of Esseles, the Empire hides a listening post that the New Republic is eager to destroy.
- Angry - Galitan is a remote moon in the dangerous but beautiful Ringali Nebula. The forces of the turbulent nebula tore apart the moon and turned it into a field of still-melted asteroid fragments.
- Nadiri stopover - The Nadiri Shipyards are starship production facilities hidden in the depths of the Bormea Sector, on the edge of the Ringali Nebula. The New Republic will defend the shipyards at all costs.
- Sissubo - Sissubo is the seventh planet of the Chandrila system in the Bormea sector. Surrounded by the remains of recovered Imperial ships, part of the Starhawk Project, the Sissubo debris field is a threat to any ship that risks flying inside.
- Yavin Prime - Located in the Outer Rim territories, Yavin Prime is a huge gas giant. One of its moons, Yavin 4, housed a rebel base and remains a significant location for the New Republic.
- Zavian Abyss - The Zavian Abyss is a dangerous space area in the Expansion Region. It is filled with asteroids charged with electricity from the surrounding vortex and the wrecks of those who dared to venture inside.
