How to use the Chat sticker in Instagram Stories
The Chat sticker in Stories is for inviting people to chat with you on Instagram. It appears in the Stories sticker options as "Chat". “Join the chat” will appear on your story.
Anyone who sees the Chat sticker can click on it. If you do, you will ask to join a private group chat with the person who posted it. They will then have the option to accept the request and you will enter a group chat with all accepted users.
Group chat takes place in the Direct Message Inbox. The Instagram that posted the Chat sticker in their story can end the chat at any time.
