Once this step is completed, you will choose the destination, that is the service to which to transfer the multimedia contents (currently, only Google Photos), and whether to transfer photos or videos. It is not possible to choose both. At this point, you will have to log in to Google Photos with your credentials. After having granted the relative permissions, you will be redirected to Facebook where you will have to confirm the transfer which will start automatically. You will receive a notification and an email upon completion. It is obviously possible to interrupt the transfer always in the same section.
As for privacy, Facebook claims that the transferred data is protected by encryption. In the future, the same function may also support other services other than Google Photos.
